1st Time Back For Kenny Brimer... zip zingin'

Kenny finally had a chance to roll around last Sunday for the first time since undergoing chemotherapy for his diagnosed leukemia. Jef Hartsel, Sean Riley, Jeremy Strength, and Kenny, cruising around sunny Honolulu. Just the smile on Kenny’s face says it all…

We thank all of those that have donated to Kenny’s fund but one of the most important part of all of this is to find out more about Be The Match, the online site for the National Marrow Donor Program. You can register and see if you can help Kenny directly with a match or for someone else who may benefit from your donation.

Where The Wild Things Are * Urban Outfitters * Geoff McFetridge

A collection of goods through Urban Outfitters for Where The Wild Things Are is now available. Geoff did a bunch of stuff ranging from t-shirts to prints, to pillows. Original graphics for these goods.

Two different listings on their site for some reason so here’s the 1st collection and the 2nd with two of Geoff’s shirts featured.

Isaac McKay-Randozzi @ Juxtapoz

Isaac McKay-Randozzi recently came by to visit with Porous Walker and Ivan Fritz and covertly took photos of the workshop here at the SF Branch of the Solitary Arts. They helped for a solid hour and got a few things taken care of for us. Thanks guys.

In addition, Porous brought this original setup of trucks and wheels below. Mahalo, Porous! Click either photo to see the rest of the post from Isaac’s Juxtapoz blog.

For the “light-bike” McFetridge designed a variety of abstract iconic imagery exploring a narrative of the psychological turmoil encountered while pedaling along our favorite pastime.

Here are some photos that Geoff took while the bike was in progress a few weeks before it’s debut at Interbike 2009.
