FOR THE LOVE OF LIFE AND SKATEBOARDING...

Our friend Kenny Brimer painted a board graphic for the fine folks at Eighty Four Skate in Hawaii.

They’ve made 50 of these decks and they’ll go on sale starting this Friday.

Be sure to connect with the Eighty Four Skate shop to buy a few, or all of them as Kenny will get $20 from the sale of each deck for his continued fight against leukemia. That’s some Aloha…

“For The Love Of Life And Skateboarding…”

Fitted Hawaii has all of the information regarding this Friday’s release/event in Honolulu.

3131 Neighbor: Tee-Off Bar and Grill

My next door neighbor, the Tee-Off Bar and Grill have been around for years in the Outer Richmond District of San Francisco (Clement x 33rd Avenue). I moved-in next door a little over 4 years ago and owners Pauly and Krystal took-over and bought the business on the same day I signed my lease. They’ve supported every event here at the annual 3131 openings with the best catered food and drinks consistently. In only this short period of time, Pauly has built a reputation for some fine dive-bar grub in the neighborhood and some well-known foodies have taken notice.

This coming Monday, November 23, 2009, come and join the Tee-Off as they gather to watch the premier episode of Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives featuring Pauly’s gourmet dive-bar cuisine.

7PM and 10PM showing.

Congratulations to the Tee-Off family!

Day 19 With Jeremy & Claire & Eli Weiss

Jeremy & Claire & Eli Weiss gifted us with a new photo print recently. Nice little stickers too.

Thank you to the Weiss’ for their generosity and awesome work.

We’re really stoked on their photography at Day19.

Some of you might remember that Eli was our first and youngest rider inducted into the Solitary Arts Skate Team.

Jef Hartsel in Hawaii Kai

ULUWATU’s… probably named in the 70’s by local Hawaiian surf-skateboarders… named after Jerry Lopez went to Uluwatu’s in Indo and surfer mag ran fotos… I saw fotos of Larry Bertleman, JayBoy, & T.A. skating there when I was a kid. Super special spot in the very very back of Hawaii Kai…
